I might write more later. It's amusing that Shout into the Dirt is an album that has taken me years to write, but now I am rushing the description the day before the release. I guess it's because life has been rather restless this year.

This album has a theme; I hope you'll hear it throughout. It's still, in my mind, mostly drumfunk and drum and bass. I've played guitar and piano on many of the tracks. Like my previous albums, this one continues to lean into a raw and sampled sound - an aesthetic that is mirrored by the art.

So maybe I'll write more later.
